The J-185 EC is a model from the Gibson`s Jumbo series and is a single cutaway variant of the J-185. The back and side panels on this model are made of maple, while the top is made of spruce. All in natural color and it finished in gloss. The top panel is bound in maple binding and equipped with a tortoise shell pickguard. The sound hole is decorated with an elegant rosette made of three circles, middle one is made of abalone. The bridge sports the vintage mustache shape and is made of rosewood. Fishman provides the Prefix Plus pickup system for the active electronics section. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and split parallelogram inlays.
There is crazing in the lacquer finish, predominately noticeable on the 3 ply maple neck and in the ebony headstock veneer. There are a few scuffs as might be expected in a guitar of this age. The guitar is provided with a non-original hard shell case.
The provenance associated with the previous ownership of this guitar has links to iconic British bands, with more details available upon request.

This is a true 'one of a kind' instrument produced by Master Luthier Didi at his workshop in Semarang, Indonesia.
This guitar was custom built around 2000, to be given as a farewell remembrance gift to a UK friend who was leaving Indonesia after ten years of residency and friendship with the luthier and his family. The recipient's name adorns the back of the headstock.
Constructed from mahogany, birdseye maple and ebony, this instrument has just been professionally set up with bridge bracing upgraded, frets leveled and new strings. It is supplied with a hard shell case.
The neck being slightly wider at 52mm (at the nut), is ideally suited to classical players or players with slightly larger fingers.

FENDER Squier Telecaster

Much sought after by both collectors and musicians, these instruments are considered equal in quality and construction to their 'Made in America' equivalents. These rare 'E' serial-numbered 'Made in Japan' guitars were built in the Fugi-Gen factory in the mid-80s.
This is a very cool, very clean Japanese made Squier Telecaster. Black finish, white guard, and maple neck combine for a classic look. There are some minor nicks and scratches and a small sub-finish blister on the top. With natural wear as can be expected when approaching 40 years, everything works as it should, and it feels great and sounds awesome.

The main difference between this and other Ibanez models is the luthite body. This is a synthetic fiber made from resin and wood dust. Being denser and less porous than wood, this gives the guitar a particularly full and deep sound. This construction makes the guitar quite light, without compromising the sustain, which actually seems to benefit from the fullness of the material used in it's fabrication.
The Wizard II maple neck, which is screwed to the body, is not excessively thin and has a fingerboard made of rosewood with 22 jumbo frets.
The hardware is satin nickel plated, and the bridge is an Ibanez Edge-Pro II, Floyd Rose licensed bridge. The HSH configuration (bridge humbucker, central single coil, neck humbucker), in combination with the 5-position switch, guarantees a wide range of sounds, a trademark of the vast majority of Ibanez products. A versatile instrument, designed mainly for rock and metal but at home with a wide range of genres.

Korean made Aria Pro II MA-28 Magna series electric guitar. Discontinued by Aria in 1996.
Very clean with a rosewood neck. Alder body, black hardware with a double locking Floyd Rose bridge and vibrato unit for rock solid tuning and a light action. SSH pickup configuration and a push/pull coil tap on the tone pot. The single coils have a great Strat-esque tone and the bridge humbucker adds extra flexibility, giving Les Paul grunt untapped and Strat clarity when tapped.
Considering the age, this instrument is in exceptional overall condition. The tip of the 5 way tone switch is currently missing, but a replacement is on order and will be installed upon receipt.

The guitar is mint condition and no longer available from Burns. This Custom Elite Series is features an Alder body, and figured maple neck, with locking strap nuts, Headstock Scroll, with Burns Custom locking machine heads, White Scratchplate, Pearl Pickups 3 x Burns Special Issue Rez-o-Matic Bridge/Tailpiece/Tremolo Rezo-tube unit, engraved with Apache emblem and the signatures of Hank Marvin and Bruce Welch.
The hardware is gold plated. In addition to great guitar great tone, there are very nice details like the the crocodile case and lots of case candy. This is a must for any serious collector!

BURNS Solidbody Double Cutaway

The Drifter was a limited run of 150 guitars from Burns from 1998 through to 2004. It was modeled very closely on the '64 Hank Marvin, the guitar that propelled Burns into success all those years ago. This guitar has been custom finished, not the normal red, white or blue, with a stunning figured maple neck.
For musicians looking for that pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster sound without the pre-CBS price tag, this is it.
The Fender look doesn't end there, the Kinman slanted Hank Marvin single-coils give you that snappy tone that Hank produces. Gold hardware and locking Sperzel tuners complete a truly stunning guitar. This guitar has been very well kept considering it's roughly twenty-five years old, and is complete with a Burns branded Hiscox hardshell case.

This is a 1997 made in the USA Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster, Fender's faithful recreation of a legendary instrument used by one of the greatest guitar players to ever live. Unblemished, in Olympic White.
One of the factors behind the Hendrix sound was the way the reversed pickup positions picked up the different strings as they normally would, which is reproduced on this guitar as well.
Other specs include an alder body, maple neck with 7.25" radius and 21 frets, Fender/Schaller tuners, 3-ply pickguard, and a tribute neck plate. The headstock has been reverse printed
This is a left hand guitar, which had in the past been strung and played right-handed. Because of this there is a strap button on each of the horns. It has been returned to it's original left hand configuration.

FENDER Left Hand Stratocaster

This is a much sought after Japanese 1989 fabricated, 1967 style re-issue. This MIJ model has upgraded electronics with a Kent Armstrong bridge pickup. It appears that the body may have been originally painted in Vintage Blue, but has subsequently been stripped back to the natural wood. The guitar is truly roadworn, but with fewer dings and scratches than one might expect in a guitar of this vintage. There are two small holes in the pickguard and one in the body where a Roland GK-2 synth pickup had been mounted. The maple fingerboard shows signs of the finish wearing of at the edges. All of these can be seen in the last photo.

EMG along with legendary artist Geezer Butler have collaborated to develop the GZR-P signature bass pickup sets. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bass player started working with EMG founder Rob Turner in 2011, looking to recreate the classic bass tones he had in Black Sabbath’s early days. As Geezer and Black Sabbath moved from studio to touring in 2013 the final component of getting the classic Geezer tone was in play - a passive pickup with a truly vintage tone and feel.
The all solderless EMG GZR P set uses Alnico V pole pieces and custom wound coils for just the right amount of punch and grit. This eliminates the noise and hum usually associated with early 70’s bass pickups and allows for more power and volume than any other standard single coil. The result is an unmistakable early Geezer Butler bass tone with deep, tight low end.

The tricone model with its art deco design has three 6” resonator cones that deliver a rich sound with lots of sustain. The sound is much less direct and less voluminous than that of its single cone counterparts, but the loss in volume will be more than compensated by complexity of tone.
The bell-brass body is finished in polished nickel and will impress in looks and sound. Playability is, as always, spot on. The luthiers that set up these instruments actually play resonator guitar. In the Royall workshop, the resonators are handspun to suit these instruments. Since this is the heart of the sound, the Royall handspun resonator cones make a huge difference.

So far I have had little success in determining anything about the Blueridge brand of banjos, except that they may have been produced for the Blueridge Guitar Company during the last millenium. The Blueridge Guitar Company currently supplies instruments aimed at the budget end of the market. However, this instrument has had the addition of what appears to be a rather pricey Fishman Classic Series neodymium under-skin pickup, which implies that a previous owner thought enough of this banjitar to invest in it's amplification.

John Grey & Sons Ltd were acquired by Rose, Morris & Co. Ltd. who made banjos up to and after the second world war. From 1967, the company started selling it's own products and just use the trademark "R.M" from Rose Morris. Rose-Morris are today a large musical department store.
Long neck banjos are extremely versatile. They can be used for any kind of music, in more keys than are available in other banjos and the keys are available with the quick addition of a capo. Capoing a long neck banjo at the third fret, places the banjo in “G” tuning. Many long neck players keep capos on their long neck banjos at the third fret and then capo up OR down as the song might require.

Baroque 9 String Guitar
This vintage Baroque 9 string guitar is of unknown origin. In fair to poor condition, but with proper attention could be brought back to life! As it stands now it is probably more objet d'art than musical instrument. Cracking is visible on the side and back. Tuners are in the Preston leque style.
The normal stringing of this instrument would place the lone string at the high end. This guitar has the nut cut allowing for a single low string, indicating that this was at some time set up for a left handed player, but is now strung right handed.
