The brand quickly built a reputation for combining the best elements of classic electric guitar designs—think the warmth and sustain associated with vintage single-cuts and the clarity and ergonomics of double-cut models—into something more refined and modern. PRS instruments are especially known for their meticulous build quality, eye-catching figured maple tops, and signature bird inlays on the fingerboard. Their Core line is made in the USA and represents the high-end of their craftsmanship, while the more affordable SE line is produced overseas but still maintains strong quality control and consistency.
