Resonator Guitars

A resonator guitar is a type of acoustic guitar designed to produce a louder sound than a standard acoustic, especially before electric amplification was common. Instead of relying primarily on the wooden soundboard (top) to project sound, a resonator guitar uses one or more metal cones (resonators) built into its body to amplify the vibration of the strings.
