Capped with an ovangkol fingerboard, the nato neck is shaped similar to what is found on modern-day electric guitars, it's thinner than comparable necks for a significant speed boost in complete comfort. Onboard electronics, and the Applause AE44-7S's CE304T Preamp (and tuner) delivers the sounds, with the 3-band EQ boosting and cutting frequencies where needed.
